The Tascam CD-A580 v2 allows you to play media from cassettes, CDs and USB-based media such as flash drives. The CD-A580 v2 utilises high-grade components to ensure optimal audio fidelity and performance, allowing you to play back your favourite music in immense detail. The cassette deck features one-way IC Logic transport control, allowing for recording and playback. You can also dub to tape from CDs or USB flash drives.

The cassette deck features +/-10 percent pitch control for adjusting warped, older tapes or for added fun. The CD player can playback audio CDs, MP3 CDs, CD-RW and features various repeat playback modes for added flexibility. Additionally, you can use the CD-A580 v2 for playing back USB-based media such as MP3 files from a USB flash drive.

Convert your analog media to digital audio

The integrated USB connectivity also allows you to record MP3 files from CD, cassette or line input sources. This eliminates the need for conversion software allowing you to manually convert your old music collection directly to MP3. This allows you to archive your collection for personal use or for professional applications such as sampling your old tapes and CDs. The USB flash drive recorder/player provides you with a range of controls including folder repeat playback, shuffle and program playback, as well as manual file division via Tape/Line.

Rack-mountable design with wireless remote control

The robust aluminium chassis features a black paint finish that not only looks sleek but turns the media player into a heavy-duty powerhouse. It measures 3U and features integrated rack ears for quick and easy mounting capabilities, ideal for the studio. It also features a front-panel headphone output with independent level control for private monitoring of your audio. The LCD display provides you with information on your media including file names, track times and more. The rear of the unit also features an unbalanced line I/O for added flexibility. Additionally, the player comes complete with wireless remote control.
