The Tascam MZ-223 3-Zone Installation Mixer features five input channels including two XLR inputs on the front panel – ideal for processing microphone signals. Ideal for commercial installations, the MZ-223 features three separate zone outputs complete with stereo XLR balanced and unbalanced RCA connectors per channel. Each zone output can process music/audio for three varying destinations – perfect for playing music in three separate spaces.

Two microphone inputs on the front panel come complete with selectable zone buttons, gain control and a three-band EQ for each input channel. The mic inputs also feature a ‘talkover’ function allowing you to make announcements, automatically lowering the music level so your customers/patrons can hear every word. It even features 48V Phantom Power so you can use studio-grade microphones such as condensers. Ideal for retail shops, restaurants, bars, hotels and cafes; the MZ-223 is perfect for playing background music and generating announcements.On the rear of the MZ-223 is a wide variety of connection options including three stereo outputs (balanced and RCA unbalanced) as well as a range of RCA/line inputs allowing you to connect a wide variety of gear including CD/media players, cassette decks and even record players. Ideal for commercial use – three zone outputs for three spaces

Designed with commercial use in mind, the MZ-223 features everything you need to play background music and make announcements across multiple spaces. With three zone outputs in total, the mixer allows you to route music across three different spaces with dedicated rotary controls for volume level. Perfect for commercial businesses such as bars, cafes, restaurants and hotels; the MZ-223 provides all the controls and connections you need for professional-grade sound routing.

The rear of the unit features three stereo balanced outputs with RCA unbalanced connections on each of the main outputs. Each output is accompanied by a switch allowing you to toggle between high and low output levels. The onboard ‘Talkover’ function will duck the volume of your background music when it detects a microphone’s signal, allowing for clear and intelligible announcements.

Five input channels with stereo RCA inputs

You can incorporate a range of playback sources thanks to the five separate input channels comprised of two stereo in inputs and an AUX/Bluetooth input. The 10 line inputs (RCA, unbalanced) are perfect for integrating audio gear such as solid-state players, media players and other playback devices.

Dual mic inputs with 48V Phantom Power

You can utilise studio-grade microphones to make your announcements thanks to the inclusion of 48V Phantom Power. The two pristine microphone inputs feature talkover functionality as well as zone selection with the front-panel buttons. Each microphone channel features an XLR/TRS combination input complete with a three-band EQ and zone output buttons for selecting which zone you wish to route each microphone signal. Each mic channel also features dedicated LED metering so you can check your levels at a glance.

Using the front-panel controls, you can adjust the levels of the three line outputs individually, allowing you to set the volume of each zone output for added flexibility. Each output also features a three-band EQ with rotary controls and dedicated LED metering for visual monitoring.
