In May 2008, RadioActive Director Max Graef worked with Globecom, South Africa to install a radio production studio for the Centro Cultural Mosaiko, an NGO that promotes human rights awareness in Angola. Max’s work on the project involved installing the studio in a 12m container and training up local journalists and CCM staff to use the studio and make radio. The project was funded by the Open Society Initiative for Southern Africa.

The studio was designed by Globecom, incorporating an AXEL Oxygen 4 broadcast console, Samson active studio monitors, Adobe Audition on a 2GB RAM Dual Core Processor PC, with one Rode N-1 Broadcaster and four AKG C-1000 microphones.
