The Tascam CD-RW900SX Professional Audio CD Recorder is a high-end CD recorder/player that builds on the success of the CD-RW900MKII – perfect for the studio. The CD-RW900SX utilises a slot-loading optical drive to ensure the best possible performance and lifespan. The new and improved CD transport is designed specifically for professional use, utilising cutting-edge firmware which allows you to generate track marks without audible gaps.
Equipped with a high-performance codec chip, the CD-RW900SX provides stellar sound quality with an ultra-wide frequency response (20Hz – 20kHz). It comes packed with useful recording functions and a range of analog/digital connectivity. Both unbalanced I/O jacks are included as well as optical and coaxial digital audio connectors. Offering four options to create new audio tracks (including auto functions), the CD recorder features Digital Direct recording, based on input level recording and based on-time recording.Independent input levels controls are included for the left and right channels, allowing you to compensate for different sound levels when recording live at a venue. It also has a special analog connection so you can use as a QWERTY computer keyboard to control the CD-RW9000SX. You can also play MP3 files on data CDs and use the computer keyboard for CD-text input for added flexibility.

It supports a range of media including CD-R, CD-R-DA, CD-RW, CD-RW-DA. You can also play MP3 files directly from a disk (up to eight folder levels) as well as erase/un-finalise CD-RWs.
