K2K Radio is a participatory radio station streaming live from South Kilburn Studios, bringing people together and providing a platform for local people to learn radio skills, share their views and talents and reach a global audience.

K2K Radio is a participatory radio project streaming live from South Kilburn Studios, bringing people together and providing a platform for local people to learn radio skills, share their views and talents and reach a global audience.

K2K Radio works on the premise that everyone deserves a chance to have their voice heard and promote their talent.  All are welcome.

Main Objectives

K2K Radio aims:

• to give everyone a chance to make radio, especially those who might not normally have the opportunity
• to promote local talent
• to connect local people with a global audience
• to provide a platform for alternative music and ideas to be aired and shared
• to provide a space for people to learn new skills and meet new people

Our Role

Based in the same studio building as us, RadioActive is a founding partner of K2K Radio, supplying equipment, training and technical support to get K2K on the air!

RadioActive continues to support K2K with equipment, technical assistance and regular radio production and presenting workshops, as well as working with the local community in South Kilburn to give them a chance to use the station.
