Overview

Awaaz Radio 107.4 FM has been on the air since early 2012, providing the Asian community of High Wycombe with their own local radio station.

With its glamorous interior design and furniture, Awaaz Radio has hosted many Asian stars as well as musicians from around the world, providing the residents of High Wycombe with an alternative cultural offer to the other stations on the dial.

Main Objectives

The station is used to promote local issues, events and current affairs, bring Asian music and film stars to the area and promote the needs of the Asian community living in and around High Wycombe.

Our Role

RadioActive supplied and installed the radio studio and transmission equipment, managed the technical aspects of the licence application, worked with OFCOM on the commissioning and regulation of the station and we continue to provide technical support, including moving the studios and transmission equipment as and when required.
